MISSION
Our mission is to create and maintain an orderly, trusting environment where teaching and learning are innovative and exciting; where students are taught to read, write, compute, and think critically according to their fullest potential. 

Welcome to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Charter School for Science and Technology. Our school is proud of the relationship betweeen the students, parents and teachers. We are dedicated to working together for the success of all students. We are a learning community of about 570 students, rich in diversity and culture. We are striving everyday to meeting and exceeding the standards and helping our students become respectful and responsible citizens.




The school day begins at 8:00 A.M.
The school day ends at 2:30 P.M.

We are thankful for the computers donated by the TOYOTA Corporation.

"Dr. King Charter School is honored to have Toyota make such an important donation to the school. The school plans to utilize these computers to enhance its educational component. Students in grades 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th will be able to utilize these computers on a daily basis and we are very appreciative to have been selected." said Doris Hicks, CEO and Principal of the school.
